Carnivorous Plant Society will be our introduction to a new initiative at ATEC: “Open Hat Night”
The ‘Open Hat Night’ provides an opportunity to experience a live performance in our venue at a price you believe is “value for money”. There will be no charge for tickets prior to the event. Instead, guests are encouraged to pay what they think the performance was worth to them, after the concert as finished.
Cinematic jazz music by an Auckland based quintet, with many more instruments, pedals and electronic devices than there are band members.
Led by trumpet and keyboard player Finn Scholes, Carnivorous Plant Society plays dramatic, original music: Mexican mariachi mixed with futuristic sci-fi space sounds and macabre, spine-chilling nuances inspired by Stephen King novels.
CPS also have a live visual element with animated projections that are guaranteed to melt your mind!
Seating by General Admission on first come, first serve basis on the night.
The doors and bar open at 6:30pm, for the 7:30pm event.
